Charlotte Gouny is an hand- embroiderer, inspired by the Rococo era in Versailles. Coming from the South of Paris, Charlotte grew up surrounded by an architecture which holds a lot of 18th century history. The imagery in her work is not only deeply rooted in the French monarchy, it also seeks inspiration in the Catholic imagery.
